Fabelab is a playful organic Scandinavian children’s toy and interior brand, founded in 2013 by our lead designer, Michaela Weisskirchner-Barfod. Our products are designed to encourage your little one’s curiosity and imagination. Michaela has embraced the Scandinavian design principles and taken inspiration from her two young girls, who always look for purposeful and imaginative playthings. Ever since the brand was founded in 2013, Michaela has made an effort to always keep a sustainable approach to every product made. Reusability and upcycling are core tenets of our brand. Wherever it is possible, we try to fill our product with Corn fibre filling or recycled polyester.
We always work to ensure that our products have a dual purpose, which is why many of our products are multi-functional and grow with the child. The multi-functional use and the high-quality materials ensures a long lifespan of every product. We always design our products based on sustainable materials and beliefs. Because being sustainable is something we truly strife for. Child safety is at the core of our products and we make sure that all Fabelab’s toys are CE-tested.
