Mimi & Lula is a London-designed children’s accessories brand, known for playful hair accessories, bags, jewellery and dress-ups made for little ones who love a bit of colour, sparkle and imagination. Their collections are designed in London and stocked by retailers around the world.

Most Mimi & Lula accessories are designed for children aged 3 to 10 years. Many pieces contain small parts, so they are not suitable for children under 3. We always recommend checking the individual product information before purchasing, particularly for younger children. 

Yes. One of the things we love about Mimi & Lula dress-ups is the quality of the fabrics and finishes. These aren’t the kind of costumes children want to pull off after five minutes because they feel scratchy or uncomfortable.

The pieces are beautifully made with play in mind, using soft fabrics and thoughtful details that make them comfortable enough for longer stretches of imaginative play. They’re also designed to be enjoyed again and again, rather than worn once and forgotten, making them the kind of special dress-up pieces that can often be passed down to younger siblings, cousins or friends.

Many Mimi & Lula hair clips work beautifully in fine children’s hair, particularly when used to hold smaller sections of hair or secure little wispy pieces around the face. As every child’s hair is different, some clip styles may hold better than others depending on hair thickness and texture. We have found the Mini Clips work best for fine hair.

Some Mimi & Lula bags do have adjustable straps, which can make them much easier to fit comfortably on smaller children. Strap styles vary between designs, so we recommend checking the individual product description before purchasing. If you’re unsure about a particular bag, you’re always welcome to ask us and we can check it for you.

We usually receive two major Mimi & Lula collections each year, and these are ordered months in advance. We may receive a few small restocks between collection drops, but these are limited and not every style becomes available again.

If you have your eye on something special, we recommend not waiting too long, as once a style sells out we may not be able to restock it.
